My name is Emma Snavley, My goal in life is to work on planes and with planes. I'm joining the Marine Corps after High School and going enlisted. My ASVAB score was a 74 which made me qualified for any job in the Marine Corps. I have signed and went to MEPS, my MOS being aircrew. My contract is 5 years for my first year I will be in school and training.
I'm currently working at a bar/resturaunt as a cook, I have worked a couple other jobs in the same industry as a host. These jobs have taught me how to handle stress when it comes to rude people, and a rush fo orders flowing in to keep everything steady and everyone happy. It's also taught me how to think through my own emotions. I have a love for art; I love painting, drawing, taking pictures, fashion, and exploring the vast realm of art.
My mind is very active, and I'm a quick learner my nature, and even quicker when I find an interest in something. I have a strong suite in numbers, and understanding difficult concepts. These skills help me in everyday situations, and in school, I would like to refine my skills to make me more knowledgable and strive to be my best.
My family is a huge inspiration for me; my father was in the Navy for five years, which is how I learned about aviation. My mother works very hard to achieve her goals, and went to college twice, obtaining two degrees, she is an inspiration for me to work hard and to always give a hundred percent. They support me with my decision for the Marine Corps which helps me a lot to feel more confident about my decisions.
I have developed a roadmap for my future, and I plan to utilize my education, and all other tools I gain to reach the goals I have set in place.
