Patrols are expected to strike the following aspects of camp before lunch:
From 12.30, Patrols should strike other aspects of camp (tents, personal kit, kitchen equipment, food etc.) and stack equipment in a neat pile just outside the site boundary.
The site boundary string and number tag should be left in place and will be removed by the camp staff.
Patrols are expected to have fully struck camp and stacked all of their equipment in a neat pile just outside their site boundary by 15.00. At this time, a member of the camp staff will check the site to look for evidence of a camp having taken place (i.e. litter, natural waste, or kit still on site) and will help remedy the situation if so.
Vehicles are not allowed onto the camping field. Camp staff will issue instructions to drivers on arrival to optimise use of the car park. After confirmation that each site has been left as it was found, camp staff in the car park will inform adults associated with the Patrol that they may proceed onto the camping field to help carry kit, or load/push trailers.
The closing ceremony is scheduled to start at 15.30 and last approximately 30 minutes. Parents/guardians, siblings and other leaders are most welcome to attend.
