The site will be open to Patrols and their equipment to arrive from 17.00, and Patrols should aim to arrive by 19.45. If any Patrol members are unable to arrive before 19.45, please advise the camp leader in advance (for planned late arrivals) or en route (for unforeseen delays).
To ensure the safety of the Scouts on the camping area, no vehicles will be allowed onto the camping field. They must be parked in accordance with instructions given by the camp staff.
Once all members of the Patrol have arrived, they are to report to Lyons Lodge and hand in their permission to camp forms. A site number will be allocated at registration.
Adults may assist the Patrol in transporting equipment to their allotted site on arrival.
The remainder of Friday evening should be spent setting up camp (with leader support if required). Patrol campsites will be approximately 20 metres x 14 metres and will be marked out with string at ground level.
This takes place at 20.00 on the Friday night in Lyons Lodge. While the PL is away, the APL should take charge of the Patrol while they continue to set up camp.
