Impact at Scale

Creating change and evolving practice across teams, schools, and systems have been essential in my leadership roles at the school, region, and national levels.

Defining outcomes has provided clarity to guide individual and team efforts and effectively measure progress. Planning strategically has called for leveraging partnerships and resources to create  comprehensive and collaborative approaches to achieving those outcomes.

Developing leaders has been instrumental to all of my strategic plans that must happen through layers, as effective leadership is a primary driver of success.

"The impact of the work [Emilee] has done with implementation trainings, the problem progressions, the standards breakdown, and the community of RCLs, the work that she’s done with the vision of excellence of math in our region has had a profound impact on students." -Brynn Pendrak, Learning Experience Design Manager at Great Minds and former Regional Math Leader of KIPP Eastern NC

"Emilee has a great deal of experience as a teacher, a coach, a facilitator, a regional and national implementor of curricula, and experience leading a team of managers and designers of professional learning that support the successful implementation of curricula. Her experience positions her to understand the needs of teachers and students and the perspectives of school and district leaders. When I was a regional math leader, she supported me in creating systems to support schools in successful curriculum implementation, developing the mathematical content knowledge and pedagogy of teachers and leaders and investing them in a vision for equitable mathematics instruction. I attribute a lot of our success and growth in mathematics instruction to my work with Emilee and her support."  - Melissa White, Manager, Learning Experience Design Team, former Regional Math Leader for KIPP Jacksonville

The two areas of Impact at Scale I'll elevate are:

1. Developing Leaders

2. Internal and External Collaboration
