Map of recently approved new well sites of Emigration Improvement District (EID) in the Burr Fork drainage.
Two of EID's four existing wells can be found on the map as well. Upper Freeze Creek well currently produces almost 90% of all water pumped by EID. Brigham Fork well has not been used for the last two years due to failure to meet drinking water standards.

Upper Freeze Creek well is 1140 feet deep. The bottom of the well is at about the same elevation as the mouth of Emigration Canyon. The bottom 240 feet of the well is screened to let water in.
