Electronic Parts

There are currently two versions of the module electronics

Simple Version

Here is a list of the electronic components needed to build the simple version of the EMERGE module:

  • 2 2.5mm SPOX wire to board header, 3 pos, right angle
  • 12 Mill Max spring loaded pin 0907-3-15-20-75-14-11-0
  • 2 60mm, 3 pos, 2.5mm SPOX cable
  • 4 PCB Faces

2.5mm SPOX wire to board header

2 3 positions right angle headers compatible with the Dynamixel AX-12/18A are used to connect the motor to the PCBs

Spring loaded pins

12 Mill Max spring loaded pins, reference number 0907-3-15-20-75-14-11-0, provide electrical connection between modules

Cable

2 pieces of 3 position, 60mm, 2.5mm SPOX terminated cable connect the motor to the module faces

USB to Dynamixel

The USB to Dynamixel converter usb2ax is used to interface the robots with a PC
