Here is a list of the mechanical parts required to assemble the EMERGE module, details can be found below:

  • 16 disc shaped 12x3 mm neodymium magnets
  • 1 Dynamxel AX-12A/18A servo motor
  • 1 FP04-F2 Dynamixel compatible bracket
  • 1 FP04-F3 Dynamixel compatible bracket
  • 1 BUSHING-F Dynamixel compatible washer
  • 1 SPACER-BU Dynamixel compatible washer
  • Assorted screws and nuts

Neodymium Magnets

The EMERGE module uses 16 disc shaped neodymium magnets of 12 mm in diameter by 3 mm of height, 4 for each face

Dynamixel AX-12A/18A servo motor

The module uses one AX-12A/18A servo motor

Dynamixel Brackets

FP04-F2 and FP04-F3 brackets are used to attach the faces of the robot, FP02-F2 brackets require a bushing spacer and a washer to correctly connect to the motor, all these parts usually come in the same box as the AX-12A/18A servo motor

Screws and nuts

The following screws and nuts are needed in order to assembly all parts of the module:

  • 8 M2 x 12mm flat head (FHS) screws
  • 8 M2 x 8mm flat head (FHS) screws
  • 4 M2 x 8mm pan head (PHS) screws
  • 1 M3 x 10mm pan head (PHS) screw, comes with the Dynamixel AX-12A/18A motor
  • 20 M2 nuts
