What does it EMCRs mean here?

What is the purpose of EMCRs on SN group? Why is it relevant?
EMCRs is a non-profit professional association that represents researchers, practitioners, and students of social networks in any discipline, worldwide who identify themselves at the early and middle stages of their careers. The association aims to stimulate research, education, and application in the field of social networks through the dissemination of knowledge and networking activities, such as organizing conferences, providing new discussion fora, and other means for professional development, enhancing the visibility and participation of EMCRs members.
