• List of documents required for tourist visa to South Africa:

1. Original passport and old passport .

2. 2 recent photographs not older than 6 months, 3.5mm X 4.5mm, white background, matt finish, not used for previous visa.

3. Proof of hotel booking.

4. Confirmed Air Ticket.

5. Original private bank account statement showing the turnover during the last 6 months, duly stamped and signed by the bank.

6. Income Tax Returns for last 3 years.

7. Student Id/Bonafide – if student.

8. pension order/retire proof – if retired.

9. other Cash investments like FD,PPF,Shares,Bonds,Policies,property papers.

• If the applicant is employed :

1. Pay Slips for last 3 months.

2. NOC for leave from employer/ school/ university

• If the applicant is a company owner or self-employed:

1. Certificate of registration of the company + 2 Letterheads.

• Documents if Visiting Friend / Family:

1. Passport & Visa Copies attested by local notary/police authority.

2. Invitation letter attested by local notary/police authority.

3. Address proof attested by local notary/police authority.

4. Last 6 months Salary slips and Bank statement- attested by local notary/police authority.
