Project 3

Project 3 consists of a set of recommendations that were made to an organization that we are a part of. I chose Soul Rio Church as my organization and gave recommendations regarding our Christmas Giving Project for this season. The goal of this slideshow is to show the lead pastor what organization would benefit most from our church's giving this year and to show how I was able to come to this conclusion. Two options were considered as the main organization to receive the gifts this Christmas. Presbyterian's Children's Cancer Center was chosen by considering several important aspects.

I began working with Prezi as the mode to present this project, but felt that it did not properly demonstrate the information of my project. Powerpoint and Google Slides were used due to their accessibility to my stakeholders and the ability to create a presentation that was easy to follow. The theme I tried to used was to show that this project was focused on Christmas and the winter season. Several links such as the link to the Presbyterian website were included to help provide another source of information for the readers.

Project 3 reflects certain skills such as working with other people, being able to professionally contact and work with an organization, and to present information in a respectful and informative way. This presentation shows that I am able to organize information in such a way that is easily understood and is accessible. I added several multimodal elements such as link to other slides in order to make this slideshow easy to navigate quickly.
