In Entwining (a 2021 show at the Robert White House in Breckenridge, Colorado) I created a wallpaper pattern based on a cage-like design in one of my gouache paintings. Interested in a pattern that was a little more dynamic than a simple repeat; I printed the image twice to create a drop shadow that would subtly shift and change from one section to the next. Thin lines are entwined with a chunkier, lattice-esque, pattern.
