The district has purchased land north of La Toska restaurant to support the future expansion of the L. Kim Lewis Auxiliary Services Facility, ensuring we can continue to meet the operational needs of CHISD. Transportation Facility Upgrades – Renovations and expansion of the CHISD Transportation Facility are currently underway. Planned improvements include:
Additional shop bays for vehicle maintenance:
A new fuel station for district vehicles
A dedicated bus wash, eliminating the need for off-site cleaning
