CHISD Proposition A: Technology Infrastructure

As part of the 2024 Bond Program, technology infrastructure improvements are funded under Prop A. The following projects are included:

• Districtwide Internet bandwidth increase from 5GB to 15GB — completed (Fall 2024)

• Core server infrastructure upgrade — completed (Spring 2025)

• Disaster Recovery site implementation — completed (Spring 2025)

• Replacement of core network switches — completed (Summer 2025)

• Districtwide wireless refresh — access points completed; cabling currently in progress (anticipated completion Summer 2026)

• Internet firewall upgrade — proposed for Fall 2026
