This time you are going to work in a group, you are going to prepare the Scripts and the Storyboard
A storyboard is a visual representation of how a story will play out, scene by scene. It's made up of a chronological series of images, with accompanying notes. It's similar to a roadmap, guiding the storytelling from the beginning to the end. A storyboard communicates a film-maker’s vision.
2. Then you will explain your best story to the rest of the team, choosing the best option: think on the practical sides, simple story, a good ending, easy to shoot...
Once you have the story, the team will discuss and write the Script as a group.
For the Literary script follow next steps: Literary Script
Share on your site a link to your Literary Script. It must be in Google Document format.
The qualification will focus on goals fulfillment, although visual and language aspects will be taken into account.
3. The last step is the technical script: Technical Script
Share on your site a link to your Literary Script. It must be in Google Document format.
The qualification will focus on goals fulfillment, although visual and language aspects will be taken into account.
Here you have an example:
The draft (the first idea).
You do a first approximation to your story.
It is okay making a simple drawing.
You can do more than one draft.
Do not worry too much.
It is just a draft.
Next step is the storyboard (the drawing of the story). Be more careful this time.
Have in mind the position of the camera, the angle, the type of shot... Add notes to help you when taking the pics.
This Comic was a story a fellow student proposed and it was inspired by "Minekraft" the game.
Do different drafts! Then you will draw the final version (the storyboard), having in mind the literary and the technical script.
Eventually, you take the photographs and treat them in a comic app and add the bubbles.
You have created your own comic!!!
