Student Absence
Students are expected to be in school every school day. Excused absences may only be granted by EIS Leadership and are always subject to the discretion of school’s administrators, principals, or administrative staff regardless of the reason (personal, medical, or otherwise).
For absences due to sickness, please inform your child’s homeroom teacher.
For longer planned absences, please fill out an Anticipated Absence Request Form and submit it to the Principal’s Office at least 1 week in advance.
The student/parent is responsible for asking teachers regarding the work that needs to be completed during the absence.
Early Pick Up
If you wish to collect your child before the school day concludes, kindly communicate your intention to your child's homeroom teacher.
Upon arriving at the school campus, we kindly request that you proceed to the Administration Office to complete a Green Slip (Leave Ground Slip). Our Receptionists will be available to assist you in filling out the form and promptly inform our School Supervisor who will pick up your child from the classroom.
Once all necessary signatures have been obtained, we kindly request that you present the completed Green Slip to our Security Guard before departing from the campus in the company of your child.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences are a great opportunity to discuss your child's progress during the school year. These meetings are held at the end of each semester and are scheduled for 15 minutes per student. There are no classes for Kindergarten students on that day.
