Practical AI Tools for Research, Innovation, and Leadership
The workshop is organized by the Ghana Young Academy for researchers, academics, etc.
This workshop focuses on automating workflows using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Google Notebook. Participants will learn how to streamline repetitive academic tasks like literature reviews, data analysis, manuscript preparation, lesson planning, and assessment design. The session will combine demonstrations and hands-on exercises to show how AI can enhance productivity and creativity in both research and teaching.
The outcome of this workshop is to enable researchers and educators to integrate AI tools effectively into their daily academic workflows, saving time, improving quality, and facilitating innovative approaches to research and instruction.
The main objectives include:
To understand how AI tools can automate key academic tasks in research and teaching.
To learn practical techniques for using Claude and Google Notebook in our daily workflows.
To explore responsible and ethical use of AI in generating, organizing, and communicating content.
The workshop will take place on the 22nd and 23rd October, 2026 from 10am to 12pm.
