A Workshop for the 4th CARLIGH International Conference
Prompt Engineering: Skills and Techniques for Obtaining Relevant and Accurate Information
Information Professionals, Researchers, Academics, Publishers, Book Vendors etc.
This workshop is about prompt engineering which is simply creating prompts that can program Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT to generate accurate information. The workshop will explore the various types of prompts, their patterns, and effective techniques for refinement and improvement.
The outcome of this workshop is to have a better understanding of how to effectively and efficiently use LLMs like ChatGPT and their potential to assist in the works of Researchers and Academics.
The main objectives include:
How to apply prompt engineering to effectively work with large language models, like ChatGPT
How to use LLMs for various tasks including knowledge exploration, prototyping, content production, document summary, and assessment
The workshop will take place on the 6th of May, 2024. The session will last for a maximum of 6 hours.
