Boom! Zap! Pow! Turn ordinary paper plates into Captain America's shield with this simple and fun craft. This is a drop-in craft. Materials supplied while they last.

Comic Strip Picture Frame

11am - 1pm | Elk Lab Makerspace | All ages

Dress up an ordinary wooden picture frame with strips of comic book pages. Materials provided while supplies last. Limited to 60 participants. First come, first come, first serve.

Dragon Egg

2 - 3 pm | Adult Services | Grades 6 and up

Here, there be dragons ... Make your very own dragon egg out of a Styrofoam egg and metallic thumb tacks. Materials and instruction provided. Space limited to 40 participants.

TICKET REQUIRED. Tickets will be distributed at the Adult Services Desk 30 minutes before the craft class. First come, first serve. Limit 1 ticket per person per program.

Make Your Own Superhero Symbol

2 - 4pm | Elk Lab Makerspace | Grades 6 and up

Design an original superhero symbol and make it out of adhesive or iron-on vinyl. Bring a clean, blank shirt (not required) and we'll help you put your symbol on it. All materials will be provided. Space limited to 12 participants.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Online registration begins on Thursday, August 29. Drop ins are welcome.

Pokémon Pikachu Craft

Translation: Color in and assemble a cute paper tube-shaped Pikachu with this super simple craft geared toward tiny hands. This is a drop-in craft. Materials provided while supplies last.

Superhero Mask Making

Design your very own superhero mask out of a variety of foam shapes and some string. This is a drop-in craft. Materials supplied while they last.

Unicorn Slime Craft

11am - 12pm | Kids Korner | All ages

What's magical, sparkly, and gooey all over? Unicorn slime! Make and take home some of your very own in this class. Materials and instruction provided. Space limited to 40 participants.
