The Blues Brothers (1980)

Brian Scanlon is on a mission from God ... to bring the Bluesmobile to the library! In 2016, he started work on transforming an ordinary 1976 Dodge Royal Monaco into a replica of the iconic car from the Blues Brothers movie. Since then, he and the Bluesmobile have been all over the Chicagoland area and the Midwest.
Back to the Future (1985)

Marty Lick stops by the Library to show off his DeLorean, a car that was made famous by Back to the Future. Growing up with the same name as the main character, he felt a connection to the car and the movie. With encouragement from friends, he bought one in 2001.
Bullitt (1968)

Bill and Patty Boggs proudly present their anniversary edition of the Mustang from the 1968 movie Bullitt. The film is notable for having made Steve McQueen a superstar, and it features an epic car chase that set the standard for all car chase scenes to come.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)

Owner Cheryl S. arrives in style in a replica of the 1961 Ferrari 250GT California Spyder from the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. It has a 330 horsepower V8, five speed transmission, Dayton Wire wheels, gorgeous tan leather interior, and Rosa Corsa exterior. Don't miss this chance to get a picture with one of the most iconic movie cars in Hollywood history! Because life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Jurassic Park (1993)

Welcome ... to Jurassic Park! Come see Frank DiMatteo's replica of the Jeep seen in the 1993 film Jurassic Park and briefly in the 2015 film Jurassic World. Frank and his wife fully restored a 1991 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, which took a year to complete. Although the Jeep is nearly identical to the ones in the original movie, no #25 actually exists.
Knight Rider (1982 - 1986)

Eric Wang stops by the library to show off his replica of K.I.T.T., the artificially intelligent car from the TV show Knight Rider. After years of research and gathering the correct parts, Eric brought his "Knight Industries Two Thousand" to life. It features front and rear cameras, an oil slick function, LEDs, and buttons galore. And yes, K.I.T.T. does talk.
Knight Rider (2008)

Ted Sands' daily driver is no ordinary car - it's K.I.T.T. (Knight Industries Three Thousand) from the 2008 reboot of the TV show Knight Rider! He was inspired to purchase a new 2009 Mustang while watching the show one (k)night, and began transforming it into a replica of the featured car. K.I.T.T. has a working scanner and ORB that runs the graphics from the show. K.I.T.T. has also been featured in Las Vegas for 7 years at the Las Vegas Car Stars show and pictured with celebrities like Spencer Wilding (New Darth Vader) and Cathrine Hickland (Stevie from Knight Rider).
The Andy Griffith Show (1960 - 1968)

You won't be able to resist whistling "The Fishin' Hole" when you see Bob DeWitt's replica of the Ford Galaxie 500 squad car from the Andy Griffith Show, one of the most nostalgic shows in American television history. The car is a later model from the last two seasons of the series. It's signed by actress Betty Lynn who played deputy sheriff Barney Fife's girlfriend and Karen Knotts, Don Knotts' daughter. It was also a Rhode Island Sheriff vehicle in the movie The Conjuring (2013).
Starsky and Hutch (1975-1979)
11am - 3pm | Entrance Parking Lot
Eric Wang brings a double feature of celebrity cars, including the famed candy apple red and white striped 1976 Ford Gran Torino from the classic TV show Starsky and Hutch, known as the "Striped Tomato." Eric's 1974 replica features the unmodified factory engine, vintage Motorola police radio, flashing light, and a trunk that can fit a family of five.
