Individual Effort Rating

for Team Members

Submission for Ratings will be given in class. You will either submit them to the instructor email for ratings listed on the syllabus, submit them to your TA, or submit a printed copy to the instructor in class.

The ratings scale and format for the email is given below.

In the subject line put: "EE# HW# groupname". fill in the appropriate # spots and your groupname.

You will send me a text email including the names of your team members, INCLUDING YOURSELF, and rate the degree to which each member fulfilled his/her responsibilities in completing homework assignments.


The Ratings Scale


10 - Excellent

Consistently went above and beyond, tutored teammates,

routinely went above and beyond the basic team responsibilities.

9 - Very Good

Consistently did what he/she was supposed to do,

very well prepared and cooperative.

8 - Satisfactory

Usually did what he/she was supposed to do,

acceptably prepared and cooperative.

7 - Ordinary

Often did what he/she was supposed to do,

minimally prepared and cooperative.

6 - Marginal

Sometimes failed to show up or complete assignments,

rarely prepared.

4 - Deficient

Often failed to show up or complete assignments,

rarely prepared.

3 - Unsatisfactory

Consitently failed to show up or complete assignments,

unprepared.

2 - Superficial

Practically no participation.

0 - No Show

No participation at all.

Use the number rating to fill in the format below. You can put in decimal numbers from 0 - 10, which will allow you to rate you and your team mates in between. For example you may want to rate a team member between 7 and 8. You could choose 7.7 if you feel they are closer to 8.
