Hello and welcome to my educator profile! 

My name is Shannon Burke and  I am currently working as an assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). 

A Midwesterner for life, I was born and raised in Illinois and my schooling has only brought me as far as the neighboring states of Indiana and Wisconsin.  However, I am addicted to the "Midwest Nice" atmosphere and have enjoyed living in the area. 

I completed residency and a medical education scholarship fellowship at the University of Wisconsin and decided to stay up in Wisconsin following graduation. The state of Wisconsin is beautiful and I am enjoying my time working at MCW.
