When you complete your 16 face to face hours:
1. Turn in your lab hour sheet in Canvas for your Instructor. Make sure you sign the form and complete each line before you submit it.
2. Be sure a description is provided on the lab form for each day you observed (i.e. Math, fractions 3rd grade).
2. Have the supervising classroom teacher complete your evaluation form and have them give it to you to upload in Canvas. If the teacher prefers, they can email to jbrisco@collin.edu
3. Be sure you have completed any lab projects that were due.
When you complete video observation (up to 8-hours):
Download the transcript from Teaching Channel and submit with hour log.
2. The remaining hours will need to be completed face-to-face in a public-school setting.
If you choose to conduct up to 8 hours of video observations, please remember that the video observations must be submitted before the lab hour record sheet. Any submissions made after the deadline will not be graded, and you must fulfill all lab hours in person.
Before you turn in your lab hour sheet checklist:
Is the form completed: this includes the course title, your professor's name, your observation site, description of what was observed etc. (the lab instructor name doesn't go on the form).
Any edits to the form such as time or date is initialed by the supervising teacher.
You calculated the hours correctly.
You total the hours at the bottom of the form.
You've signed the form.
