What is the NEA Representative Assembly?
The NEA Representative Assembly (RA) is the National Education Association's largest governing body where we have the ability to make change. This is done by main updates and changes to the national educator's union to reflect the interests of the members. Groups that are seen at the RA include committees, constituencies, delegates, caucuses, and more.
How do I go?
If you would like to attend the RA you can fill out this form, there are only 8 spots available for the RA. If more than 8 people sign up, then there will be a vote by our elections committee.
Final attendees will be notified by March 10th.
It is very strongly recommended but not required that if you are attending the RA, you also attend the National Aspiring Educator Conference. It is the few days leading up to the RA, we recommend this because we have many caucus and informational meetings at the AEC for the RA.
If you have any questions, please reach out to our President, James Kellerman.
Planning Ahead:
The RA will be held in Portland, Oregon this year directly following the AEC conference. The dates are July 1st through July 6th, 2025.
