The charge of this committee is to educate, support and strengthen the commitment of the citizens and the government to excellence in public education at all levels. To promote and strive for improvement of all public schools. As well as encouraging our educators to know and understand the nature and actions of their government and the important political issues as they pertain to public education.

March 2025:
PAC rebranded to be a LAC.
December 19th, 2024:
Sent out a Hustle message to our members asking them to fill out our lobby day testimony form
Encouraging members to join Lobby day on February 20th!
November 14th, 2024:
The meeting began by discussing an expansion of paid student teaching, the potential dissolvement of the EDTPA, and limiting practicum and teaching placement distances.
Another discussion made was how the members would go about researching and collecting data to ensure the most accurate information.
The meeting concluded by discussing questions, comments, and concerns the committee members wanted to address with the EDMN PAC Board.
October 18th, 2024:
The committee welcomed a new member, Hannah!
An action plan was put into place about which political candidates will be endorsed. It was then discussed how we would spread the word via social media.
Another item discussed was the legislative agenda process, including a conversation about the possibility of the dissolvement of the EDTPA.
The committee also took time to reflect on what the main goal of the committee was.
September 19th, 2024:
The main purpose of this meeting was to discuss out legislative agenda further. We talked through all of the potential candidates that we could endorse.
August 15th, 2024:
We discussed our goals for this committee, what we want to accomplish, and what we want to focus on for the year.
