I’m a creative problem-solver with a background in Economics and Business Communication, but don’t worry, I’m not here to bore you with graphs (unless they’re in a marketing campaign).
Over the past six years, I’ve dived headfirst into digital marketing, SEO, web design, and content creation, basically, all the cool (and sometimes frustrating) stuff that makes businesses stand out online. From building PWA apps to mood boards, I’ve learned to switch hats faster than a barista at a hipster coffee shop.
Being a modern marketer offers a lot of appealing opportunities and perks. The creative potential of our work is expanding, while at the same time it is becoming more technically oriented.
My journey hasn’t been a straight line, more like a spaghetti bowl of experiences. I’ve run a T-shirt business during COVID (because who doesn’t love a good side hustle?), tackled interior design projects that turned dull spaces into places people actually want to be in, and led multi-channel marketing campaigns that blend creativity with strategy.
But the psychological side of working with people and for people is something that I’ve always found to be fascinating in my line of work. Our job is writing, creating, coming up with great ideas, building relationships, and having fun while at the same time providing genuine value to other people.
What I love most? Solving problems with creativity, no matter how complicated or bizarre. Think of me as the Swiss Army knife of marketing and design: curious, adaptable, and always learning.
I’ve worked with people from every background, everyone from C-suite execs to the folks who actually make things happen on the ground and I pride myself on speaking their language (without sounding like a corporate robot).
Outside the office, you’ll find me hiking, wild camping, growing my veggies and generally trying to make sense of the world, one mountain trail (and occasional existential crisis) at a time.
In a world of algorithms, I bring a personalised touch and a sustained commitment to thinking outside the box.
🤔 How do I define success?
First and foremost, I would say having the heart in the right place and knowing your life is filled with abundance. Understanding that learning never stops and the willingness to lose a few battles to win the war is an important lesson. Even if it takes years to achieve a goal, not giving up but understanding the difference between need and want is essential.
🤓 What's next?
Someone once said, ‘You can do anything with a positive attitude better than you can do it with a negative one.’ As long as I work in this field, I won’t stop learning and developing skills, and I certainly won’t have time to get bored. 😎
