THE PROJECT

The development of digital pedagogy and educator experience with digital resources, such as paperless management systems and environmentally friendly digital tools for VET operations, are further components of this project.

A number of significant issues pertaining to digital transformation, environmental sustainability, and vocational education and training (VET) are entwined with Eco.Digi.VET.

The Eco.Digi.VET program stems from a growing awareness of environmental issues and the significant role that digitalization plays in modern life. By focusing on VET teachers and students and supporting them in gaining digital and environmental capabilities through the sustainable use of digital tools and technologies, the project seeks to advance digitalization and environmental sustainability in VET institutions.

The project's main objective is to lessen the environmental effect of vocational education and training (VET) facilities by encouraging paperless administration and the integration of green digital technology into VET processes. This is extremely important because IT accounts for 3% of global emissions and the digital world for 1%.

Through the implementation of green digital technologies and paperless management, the initiative aims to reduce emissions and make a positive contribution to a more sustainable future.

The project's goal is to help VET instructors and students become more proficient with digital and environmental technologies by offering them tools and training to help them incorporate these technologies into their daily work. This will help students become future experts in many different industries, but it will also help create a workforce that is more sustainable. By allowing instructors and students to interact and share their resources, experiences, and information about digitalization and environmental sustainability, the program seeks to foster a culture of sustainability and innovation in VET schools.
