The RAA System

Imagine being involved in a major accident.  Your blood pressure drops with the sudden loss of blood.  Staying conscious is vital as you apply pressure to your wound to stop the hemorrhaging.  To help you remain awake, your excretory system engages a chemical pathway that will raise your blood pressure and give you a fighting chance for survival.
