In addition to leading ECE, Mason provides private softball instruction and is passionate about helping athletes build confidence through strong fundamentals, softball IQ, and a love for the game. Coach Kathi has been part of softball since the age of five, growing from recreational leagues to coaching her daughter through travel softball and eventually into the collegiate recruiting process. Along the way, she also coached adult women’s and co-ed teams, giving her a unique perspective on athletes at every stage of the game.
Having navigated the competitive California travel softball scene, Kathi served as a liaison with college recruiters and helped numerous families better understand the recruiting process. She believes opportunities are earned through attitude, effort, coachability, and character—not politics or favoritism.
As both a coach and parent, Kathi is passionate about helping athletes grow into confident young women who compete with integrity and embrace the lessons the game teaches far beyond the field.

Recruiting Perspective
Coach Mayson has been playing softball since the age of four and has competed at the recreational, travel, high school, and collegiate levels. A former player at Southern Union State Community College, one of the highlights of her playing career was competing in the NJCAA World Series in Arizona during her freshman season.
Mayson is passionate about creating an environment where every athlete feels supported, valued, and confident. She believes the best players are developed through encouragement, accountability, and a genuine love for the game. Her goal is to help athletes reach their full potential while teaching lessons that extend far beyond the softball field.
She enjoys sharing her knowledge with the next generation of players and finds the greatest reward in watching athletes grow in both skill and confidence. Mayson hopes every player she coaches leaves with a strong work ethic, a team-first mindset, and the desire to keep improving every day.
