Blog to Book Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 18, 2026
Blog to Book helps you discover public posts on the page you explicitly choose and turn them into a private offline book.
Information the extension handles
When you click the extension, it may read the current page and the same website’s public archive pages to find article links and publicly accessible text and images. If you choose signed-in mode, it reads only the visible tab you select. The extension stores settings, cached article data, and export state locally in Chrome so you can resume or export later.
How information is used
Information is used only to discover, review, and export the book you request. Exports are created locally in your browser. Blog to Book does not sell browsing data, use it for advertising, build a browsing-history profile, or transmit article content to a Blog to Book server.
Permissions
activeTab lets the extension work on the page after you click it. downloads saves an export you request. scripting supports page inspection. storage saves local settings and resumable work. tabs supports selecting a visible signed-in tab for the optional session workflow.
Your choices
You can cancel a discovery run, decline page access, and remove locally stored data by clearing the extension’s site data or uninstalling the extension. The extension does not bypass paywalls, authentication, robots rules, or access controls.
