There is no Summer Sunday School for ages 3-5 year olds: We cannot run this group on Sundays as we do not have enough volunteers.

For Children Ages 3 – 5 we need adults with current police checks and youth volunteers to supervise these children in the large classroom. Volunteers will be scheduled for two Sundays during the summer. Please talk to Jessi D., Andy V. or Judy V.

From the Committee of Administration: Please be advised that the projected budget for June 30, 2026, is $247,086.99. Received budget funds to June 22, 2026, are $190,303.61. Please keep this matter in your prayers and donate as you are able.

Sunday School is looking for a grade 1 & 2 teacher. Talk to Kurt or Judy.

Food Bank: The Coordinator has let us know there is a need for: toothpaste and toothbrushes, non-sugary cereal, peanut-free snacks for kids and peanut butter. Thank you for the continued support of the Food Bank and helping folks facing food insecurity.

July 19 Offering: The second offering is for New Ground (formerly Operation Manna) which help deacons and churches break missional ground nurturing Spirit-Lead ideas that bear everlasting fruit. New Ground provides learning and networking resources, and financial support to deacons, who strive to empower their congregations to show the love and mercy of Christ to communities as well as youth justice initiatives. diaconalministries.com/newground

July 26 Offering: The second offering supports Deacons Causes, and their benevolence, helping those in need within church family, as well as reaching out in love to those in our community where there is great need due to high cost of living, and lack of affordable housing.

Highlights of the July 9, 2026 Council Meeting

·        Judy is the Chair of Council, Dick W is the Council Vice Chair, Carolyn F is the Council Clerk, Evert F is the Treasurer.

·        Chair of Deacons is Anthony D; Chair of Elders is Wayne D.

·        Council reps assigned to committees: Safe Church rep is Rob D, Health and Safety rep is Carolyn F.

·        Pastor Adam’s sabbatical report and insights from sabbatical were received for information.

·        Committee mandates were reviewed and approved by council.

·        Council approved names suggested for ad hoc committee.

·        Hiring Committee and hiring process for new Coordinators was discussed.

·        CAP report received for information.

·        Council agrees to hold its next meeting on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 7 p.m.
