Children's Opportunities at Ebenezer Church
At Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, we believe our youngest members aren't just the "future" of the church—they are a vital part of our church family right now. The faith life and spiritual growth of our children is very important to our church family, and we take great joy in walking alongside them as they discover God’s love. We have several programs that aim to provide opportunities for our kids to become more and more like Jesus, focusing on both education and community.
Growing Together in Worship: We believe that worship is a multi-generational experience. Because of this, our kids spend a portion of the worship service together with the entire church family. We love the energy and perspective they bring to our collective praise. To ensure they feel seen and heard, we incorporate specific elements into our time together:
· Children’s Message: We have a special children's time each week where the kids are invited to engage with the day's lesson in a way that is accessible and fun.
· Inclusive Worship: Beyond just a single segment, we also strive to make our entire morning service engaging for them, using music, storytelling, and visuals that resonate with all ages.

That is why the Ebenezer Nursery Program is designed to provide a safe, joyful, and welcoming space for our youngest members, allowing adults to engage fully in the sanctuary service.
A Space Built for Little Ones: The Nursery program is specifically tailored for children up to age 3. We understand that for toddlers and infants, the world is a place of discovery. Our nursery is a dedicated child-friendly environment equipped with age-appropriate toys and soft play areas designed to keep little hands busy and curious minds engaged.
Love, Laughter, and Peace of Mind: Our program is anchored by a team of dedicated volunteers who are committed to more than just supervision. They strive to create an atmosphere of love and laughter, ensuring that every child feels secure and valued from the moment they are dropped off.
By providing a high standard of care, the Nursery program offers parents and caregivers the "peace of mind" needed to join together in worship, knowing their little ones are playing, learning, and being cared for in a nurturing setting nearby.

The Sunday School program at Ebenezer CRC is a foundational ministry designed to nurture the spiritual growth of our youngest members. Our program is built on three primary pillars:

Empowering Girls: The GEMS Program
The GEMS Girls' Club is a vibrant, relationship-based program designed to help young girls flourish in their faith and their daily lives. Standing for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior, GEMS focuses on providing a safe, welcoming environment where girls can truly be themselves.
At its heart, GEMS is about two things: Love and Mentorship.
A Foundation of Faith: The primary goal is to ensure every girl understands that she is profoundly loved by Jesus.
A Dedicated Community: It isn’t just about lessons; it’s about life. Girls are supported by a community of women who are passionate about mentoring the next generation, offering guidance, friendship, and a listening ear.

The Calvinist Cadet Corps
The Calvinist Cadet Corps is a dynamic, non-denominational youth program dedicated to sharing Christ’s love with boys in both our church and the local community. It’s designed to provide a supportive environment where boys can grow spiritually, mentally, and physically.
Program Highlights
Target Audience: Open to boys in Grades 4 and up.

Are you looking for a place to hang out, be yourself, and explore what faith looks like in the real world? Whether you’re navigating the halls of middle school or preparing for life after graduation, our Youth Group is designed just for you.
What to Expect
We meet every Wednesday at 7 p.m. right here at the church throughout the school year.. Our weekly gatherings are the perfect mid-week break to refuel and reconnect. Every night includes:
Snacks: Because everything is better with food.
Games: From high-energy activities to classic favorites.
Discussion: A safe space to talk about life, faith, and the big questions.
Beyond our Wednesday nights, keep an eye out for special events scheduled throughout the year—including outings, service projects, and retreats!
Our Mission: Gather, Grow, and Go
Our goal is to support students in grades 6–12 (and up!) as they navigate their spiritual journey. We believe in three core pillars:

The Friendship Group is a vibrant ministry at Ebenezer CRC dedicated to individuals in our community with developmental and cognitive challenges. Our mission is simple yet profound: to ensure that every person, regardless of ability, knows they are deeply valued, loved by God, and an active member of God’s family.
In this circle of friendship, we focus on what unites us—our shared faith and the joy of community.
Every session is designed to be engaging, accessible, and, above all, fun! We walk through the journey of faith together using a variety of activities:
Music & Singing: Lifting our voices to celebrate God’s presence.
Bible Lessons: Exploring the Word through storytelling tailored to all learning styles.
Arts & Crafts: Expressing our creativity and the beauty of God’s creation.
Games & Snacks: Building bonds and enjoying fellowship in a relaxed setting.

The Ebenezer Prayer Group is a dedicated community of believers committed to interceding for our congregation, our neighbors, and the world. We believe in the power of collective prayer to bring healing, guidance, and peace into the lives of those around us.
Our primary mission is to ensure that no one walks through their trials alone. To maintain a constant and responsive prayer chain, we utilize a digital prayer distribution system:
Email-Based Requests: All prayer needs, praises, and urgent petitions are compiled and distributed directly to our members via email.
Real-Time Intercession: By using email, we ensure that our prayer warriors can receive updates and begin praying for your needs the moment they arise, regardless of where they are.
Privacy & Respect: We handle every request with the utmost spiritual care. You can choose to share your full story or submit a "spoken" or "unspoken" request.
Whether you are looking for a community to support you in prayer or you feel called to pray for others, there is a place for you here.
To Submit a Request: Simply send or contact the Pastor with your prayer needs. Your request will then be formatted and sent out to the entire prayer group.
