Called to Serve

Do You Feel Called to Serve?

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."   1 Peter 4:10

The following Ebenezer ministries currently have opportunities for you to use your gifts

Nursery Committee

The Committee that oversees the Nursery is looking for one more member. Please speak to Samara B if you are interested or for more information. The Nursery program is available for children up to aged 3 during our Sunday morning service which allows parents and caregivers to join together in the sanctuary while our nursery volunteers provide an atmosphere of love and laughter for little ones in a child-friendly environment.

Becoming an Elder or Deacon

The elders and deacons at Ebenezer oversee the doctrinal life and demonstrate the mercy of Jesus by showing God's love to those around us. At Ebenezer in particular, the elders and deacons emphasize our church's mission to reach up and out together in love.

Events Team

Ebenezer's Fellowship Events Team is in need of new members. It is the goal of this team to implement at least 3 church-wide fellowship events per year for the purpose of gathering and fellowship. In the past we have enjoyed each other's company over Euchre and Corn Hole tournaments, Trunk or Treat, pre-service breakfast socials, post-service BBQs, and more.

If you would like to be part of a fun team, bringing our church family together for fellowship, please contact the church office, or any member of the Connections Committee, or the Events Team.

Connections Committee

Ebenezer's Connections Committee implements programs, events, and strategies for the purpose of sharing the Gospel of Christ’s love with our community and to promote Ebenezer CRC as a place of loving acceptance, encouragement, and hope. Connections oversees ministries such as Women's Coffee Break, The Mealbox Program, The Special Events Team, and our summer youth sports program. The committee also develops and maintains connections with community partners in order to encourage congregational involvement and participation in various activities, seminars, and community outreach programs outside of Ebenezer.

The team is looking for 2 new members to join starting June, 2025.
