TEQIP

In 2002-2003, the Government of India with the financial assistance from the World Bank launched a Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) as a long term programme, to be implemented in three phases for systematic transformation of the Technical Education in India. Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, is having the practice of identifying and appointing Senior Academicians, Intellectuals and Experts from different academic fields as mentors and performance auditors to audit and guide the TEQIP Institutions to improve the quality of technical education. Prof.Dr.A.Ebenezer Jeyakumar was appointed by MHRD as Performance Auditor for the TEQIP –II Institutions one in the state of Andhra Pradesh and two in Karnataka.

Prof.Dr.A.Ebenezer Jeyakumar was appointed by MHRD as Mentor for the TEQIP-II Institution – Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi from 2014 to 2016.
