疊層石
Stromatolites
西澳的現生疊層石主要有三處：最有名的Hamelin Pool Stromatolites (哈梅林池)、Lake Clifton Thrombolites (克利夫頓湖) 和 Lake Thetis Thrombolites (塞提斯湖)。
位於Shark Bay的Hamelin Pool Stromatolites最有名，但路程遙遠；如果時間較趕，可以前往位在Perth南方車程約1小時的Lake Clifton Thrombolites，這裡的疊層石也很壯觀。

位在澳洲西北邊Shark Bay(鯊魚灣)地區內)，距離Perth大約700km，以蕈狀、頂部較大的疊層石類型為主。
ps. 由於2021年4月Serojia颱風(cyclone Serojia)的影響，此區域被破壞、目前仍然暫時封閉。
