Week 1

  My teaching internship began this week, and it was a thrilling experience filled with new duties. However, there were new obstacles and chances for me to develop as a teacher every day. 

  My arrival at school was earlier than seven in the morning. I knew nothing about INRSF because this is my area of expertise. Prior to the orientation, I was able to attend the flag ceremony. At the principal's office, student teachers received their orientation. Subsequently, the principal contacted my prospective cooperating teacher. The cooperating teacher was Ma'am Charmine Dawn P. Ramos,. I knew her from when I was in high school because she used to teach food processing. 

We are now in the building of food processing building. My Cooperating teacher oriented me on the lesson plan that I made. She sent all the lessons from grade 10 and grade 11. I was thankful because she already gave me tips and advice on how to handle both sections and how to deliver the lesson wisely. 

        Another day, finally it was my turn to take charge of a class.I was feeling nervous yet so excited. This was my  official start of my class. I had a fun activity planned to get to know the students better. I introduced myself. I gave them a question about expectations of myself as a teacher and I let them introduce themselves. After that, I discussed the production cost for finished products for grade 10 and the cutting techniques for grade 11.  

On the next day, grade 10 had their activity. They computed their production costs and composed a production report. While in grade 11, they had their performance laboratory. The students performed well and they met my expectations. 

Looking back, the week was filled with challenges and unique experiences. I gained knowledge about the value of flexibility, clear communication, and seizing new chances. Throughout the week, my cooperating teacher was a big help and source of support.
