A line represents the geometric place of the infinite succession of points between two points (A, B) that comply with the equation y = a * x + b for the (x, y) coordinates of the points in the geometric place.
The management of the lines in the model is done by selection the Line menu option in the Curve menu of the Geometric menu.
The dialog allows creating a new line (New button), modifying an existing line (Edit button) or deleting an existing line (Delete button).
To define a new line the identifier of the object has to be set (positive integer different than cero and different than any identifier of an existing line), the line start point, and the line end point (using a set of coordinates or using the identifiers of the points).
Modifying an existing line is done by means of the selection of the Edit button in the List of lines dialog box (previously selecting the line to modify). The only field non-modifiable is the identifier of the object. The rest of fields can be modified as when defining a new line.
