Powerful Patterns

POWERFUL PATTERNS (7/18/2023):

In this lesson, we had to create a piece of "inspirational art" that can be using repeated patterns. We had to create digital art using geometric shapes to create a base pattern, we used for loops to translate the pattern to fill the screen, and we used the 'frame_rate' and 'frame_count' functions to animate the creation of the pattern. I love how this lesson recapped what we did in previous lessons, incorporated many examples, and provided many resources for students giving them an idea of what they can make. This lesson provides a balance between teaching and creativity, and this is what makes this such a great lesson. I took the liberty to make a U.S. flag with sparkling stars which can be seen towards the bottom of the page.
