Computational Thinking

Computational Thinking Capstone

After reading the lesson on computational thinking I learned that it is using a set of techniques and approaches that helps us solve problems. The four key techniques to computational thinking is decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithms. You don't even need to know how to code to use computational thinking. In computational thinking, you basically take a complex problem and break it down into a series of smaller and more manageable problems which can then be looked at individually to solve them easier. We also only focus on important details, while ignoring irrelevant information. Next, we create simple steps to solve each of the smaller problems which are algorithms.

Requirement 7: Design a visual representation showing which countries have the most FIFA World Cup Championships over the course of history.

You may choose to do this using a bar graph, pie graph, or some other creative visual tool. As you build your representation, consider which visual will tell the best story about the data.
