While a full description is present, a bullet point list denotes the most important details about each ability for quick access.
Color of each ability that uses durag energy (and ONLY those abilities) is dictated by the color of the durag the user is linked with
ANY and ALL modifications to properties, effects, or any other element of these abilities by a durag or any other factor takes FULL priority over that described on this page.
The content on this page was meant for DURAG II and the DURAG remake, which of course never saw the light of day.
The user quickly conjures and throws a small fast-moving ball of durag energy out from their palm that "pops" on impact. This ability is the simplest to learn, taking no time at all to figure out, and uses the smallest amount of power out of most other abilities. This can be considered the "basic punch" of durag abilities and might even work when the amount of remaining power is so low that others fail to function.
Easy to learn
Uses almost no power
Barely requires any remaining power
The user balls their hands into a fist, channels some power through it, and thrusts their arms out to the ground in a downward "V" formation with their fingers spread apart. The power that at first rested in their clenched hand chaotically rushes outward, causing a visible circular shockwave that pushes others away and kicks surrounding dust up into the air. The force from the singular shockwave is enough to blow most small animals (like birds) and humanoids (without good footing) away, onto the ground, or cause them to stumble a bit.
This ability has a fairly high learning curve compared to others and requires decently strong muscles to execute. This defensive move consumes a fairly small amount of power compared to most other abilities, but still requires a decent amount of power present to execute correctly, otherwise the shockwave might be equivalent to that of a wind gust.
Not so easy to learn
Requires a moderate amount of arm strength
Uses little power
Requires a moderate amount of remaining power
CAN still be used without this requirement but is MUCH less effective
The user takes about a second to output and fling a ball of durag energy out from their hands that explodes on impact, leaving a small crater. This ability requires the user having already learned "Durag Quick Shot" but isn't the hardest feat to pull off. Using the attack correctly might take a few tries depending on the skill and cunning of the user, but with the right amount of dexterity and calm patience, the attack can be learned fairly quick so long as the user has the arm strength to lift about fifteen pounds. This uses a considerably small amount of power compared to most other abilities but might start to fail when energy levels get dangerously low.
Somewhat easy to learn but REQUIRES that the user knows "Durag Quick Shot"
Requires a small amount of dexterity and 15 lbs. arm strength
Uses little power
Requires a small amount of remaining power
Explodes
The user balls their hands into a fist and channels a considerable amount of power through it. They then thrust their arms out, pointing to the ground in a downward "V" formation with their fingers spread apart and back slightly arched from the sheer force they just exerted. The power that once rested in their clenched hand instantly rushes outward, causing multiple circular shockwaves to visibly form, pushing others away and kicking surrounding dust and small stones or rubble up into the air. The force from the shockwaves is enough to blow most humanoids back a couple steps, onto the ground, or tumble a bit, if not from the first wave, then possibly the rest.
The number of shockwaves produced depends on the maximum power of the individual using this ability. Using this defensive move correctly could take many attempts and requires strong leg muscles to do effectively. This ability consumes a moderate amount of power, but also drains a slight bit of the user's stamina when used. Execution requires a fairly high amount of power to be present, otherwise the number of shockwaves will be greatly reduced, and each might be equivalent to that of a strong wind gust (nothing more).
Not easy to learn
Requires a somewhat high amount of leg strength
Uses moderate amounts of power and a little stamina
Requires a somewhat high amount of remaining power
CAN still be used without this requirement but is MUCH less effective and the number of shockwaves will be less
The user forcefully launches a VERY short beam of durag energy after about half a second of focusing that travels slightly faster than a rocket. This projectile explodes on impact, leaving a fairly large hole, even in fairly hard substances like wood and rock. This ability requires the user having a slightly below average amount of power remaining and takes some concentration to pull off, as well as the arm strength to lift about forty pounds. Using the attack correctly might take a slight bit of practice for untrained individuals, but with the right amount of strength and calm patience, the attack can be learned fairly quick. This uses slightly below moderate amounts of power compared to most other abilities, but might start to fail when energy levels get uncomfortably low.
Not easy to learn
Requires a moderate amount of concentration and 40 lbs. arm strength
Uses somewhat moderate amounts of power
Requires a moderate amount of remaining power
Can destroy somewhat hard materials
The user focuses their power in a specific spot (or set of spots) and shoots a thick beam of durag energy from that location, which disintegrates certain materials or objects in it's path. The amount of time needed to focus the power depends on the maximum power of the user and can range anywhere from sixty seconds to two. The thick beam of destructive energy travels faster than ALL rockets, and slower than most energy\power based weaponry projectiles. The sheer force of the beam causes a moderately sized explosion upon contact with a wall or other solid surface, and tends to make a fairly huge hole, even in hard substances like metal and iron.
This ability requires the user having a slightly above average amount of power remaining and takes A LOT of concentration to do, as well as the arm strength to lift about sixty-five pounds or more (depending on how MUCH durag energy (or equivalent) was passed through). Using the attack correctly takes a fair amount of practice, even for trained individuals, but the right amount of strength and anger\desperation can teach an individual to execute it.
Mastering the ability will take considerably more practice, which is REQUIRED to pass more than the base amount of energy through it. This uses large amounts of power compared to most other abilities and will start to fail when power levels get low enough, especially when more than usual is passed through.
Somewhat hard to learn
Easier to learn in times of anger or desperation
Can be more powerful (through channeling more power to it) when mastered (through practice)
Requires a HIGH amount of concentration and 65+ lbs. arm strength (depending on the amount of power channeled)
Uses HIGH amounts of power
Requires a somewhat high amount of remaining power
Can destroy hard materials
Requires some time to begin based on user's focus
The user focuses their power around them and manifests it into a glowing aura, causing their stats to multiply. The oval shaped aura stays centered around the torso of the user (even if their limbs break the outline) and most closely resembles a flame (while not exact in nature) as it flows up from the user's feet. While the user experiences an INSTANT 2x boost to their health, and power (as well as strength and speed), their armor remains untouched, although the boost DOES stack with the durag multipliers.
The boosts to said stats are only temporary however, as once the aura disperses upward (which occurs when the ability is deactivated), the power within the user returns back to it's normal state and a moderate hit in stamina is experienced during said deactivation. In the event that reversing the multipliers' effects during deactivation causes current health to be under or at zero, current health remains at one and the user remains living (just the same as unlinking from a durag (specified here)).
This ability requires the user having a large amount of power remaining, and ALSO requires the user having "unlocked it". This means that those with the ability can NOT make use of it until they've done it AT LEAST ONCE (also known as a "Normal" start, and a "Quick" start once learned to do at will). Furthermore, activating the "buff"\powerup requires IMMENCE CURRENT physical or mental\emotional strain (until they learn to activate it willingly), often nearing or at a mental breaking point. Activation of this ability will use a moderate amount of power, but once activated, power will slowly replenish overtime, though activation WILL fail if current power is less than a sixth (0.16).
If the user attempts to activate the ability but does NOT have the required amount of power, the ability will visually AND audibly APPEAR to have been activated, but the aura will only flow upward for a second before dispersing and the multipliers will NOT be applied, though the previously mentioned stamina drain WILL occur (as if it was deactivated, since it technically WAS activated, but could not maintain itself).
If the user has learned to use this ability at will (and doesn't rely on extreme stress to activate it (also known as a "Quick Start")) AND has the "Shockwave Push (Quick)" ability (either from a durag or other source) with the power needed for BOTH, they can cause THAT ability to trigger and push those around the user backward slightly RIGHT before the aura and modifiers activate. If the power for only the "Shockwave Push (Quick)" ability is present, that will execute successfully, but THIS ability will fail as described above.
Can NOT be learned (the user must have been triggered it once through HIGH amounts of distress)
Can be "Quick" started when mastered (through practice)
If the user knows "Shockwave Push (Quick)", BOTH abilities can be used at the same time
Requires a HIGH amount of concentration and 65+ lbs. arm strength (depending on the amount of power channeled)
Uses moderate amounts of power
Power will regenerate while "buff" is active (similarly to when some durags are worn)
Uses moderate amounts of stamina when deactivated
Requires a HIGH amount of remaining power
Fails if remaining power is less than 1\6th (0.16) of the user's maximum
INSTANT 2x boost to maximum health, current health, maximum power, current power, strength, and speed
The user's power uncontrollably explodes around them once released, leaving a huge crater in the ground but only cracking surrounding walls (as most of the force is exerted around the user's feet). The remaining durag energy creates a large glowing aura centered around the user's body, expanding far outward to almost double their height. Activation of this ability also causes multiple, visible, circular shockwaves to emanate outward from the user's feet. These shockwaves kick up dust and other somewhat small rocks from the surrounding area, and push those without moderately strong leg muscles backward, though those that CAN withstand the force only stumble (if not from the shockwaves, then the explosion previously noted). While similar, these shockwaves are NOT the "Shockwave Push" ability, and as such, that ability does NOT need to be acquired or learned to successfully activate this "powerup", nor can they be avoided from occurring.
The user's power (as well as health and strength) INSTANTLY boost by 3.3x, but the power given is very unstable. Said unstable energy causes reflective blue sparks to uncontrollably shoot out from the perimeter of the user's body, and the aura is now brighter than the "Durag Aura" ability. Besides the brightness, the "fiery" aura now has more visible "tips" and flows upward from the user's feet surprisingly quickly. Just as this ability's predecessor (Durag Aura), maximum and current armor remains untouched when activated, although the other boosts DO stack with the durag's multipliers.
Be warned... THIS ABILITY CAN NOT BE DEACTIVATED by normal means. Once activated, the power flowing within the user is so unstable that "calming it down" is NOT achievable, and returning to the user's normal state is by EVERY aspect IMPOSSIBLE... hence the name. While the ability WILL deactivate upon death (and the aura will disperse), the ONLY way the USER can somehow "shut it down" is to focus the entirety of their power into their chest... which will cause them to explode.
This can be done while calm, or angered\stressed, and will expand the glowing aura outward until it glows so bright that it appears totally white. About one second later, an explosion about the magnitude of half a nuclear warhead will consume the area, killing all but those strong enough to withstand it, sending one massive shockwave through the nearby plain, throwing debris wherever it may fly. If viewed from far in an open area such as a city or grassland, a nuke cloud the color of the user's linked durag can be seen in the distance, expanding out and upward until it fades away, leaving nothing but the wreckage in it's wake.
This ability requires the user having a huge amount of power remaining, and ALSO requires the user having almost inhuman physical or mental\emotional strain, often before death. Activation of this ability will use an enormous amount of power, but once activated, power will almost instantly replenish overtime, although activation WILL fail if current power is less than a third (0.3). If the user attempts to activate the ability but does NOT have the required amount of power, nothing will happen, no matter how hard they try. If the user is killed BEFORE they WILLINGLY deactivate the ability, the explosion IS circumvented, and the aura fades away, as well as the sound and light.
Can NOT be learned (the user must have been triggered it once through SUPER HIGH amounts of distress like a near-death experience)
Explodes on activation with shockwaves similar to the "Shockwave Push" ability
Uses a SUPER HIGH amount of power
Power will almost instantly regenerate while "buff" is active (similarly to when some durags are worn)
The user explodes when the ability is deactivated (which does NOT happen if killed)
Requires a SUPER HIGH amount of remaining power
Fails if remaining power is less than 1\3rd (0.3) of the user's maximum
Can destroy moderately hard materials at the user's feet when activated (leaving a crater)
INSTANT 3.3x boost to maximum health, current health, maximum power, current power, and strength
