Damani

Damani in the DURAG universe is slightly different from his real-life counterpart, but a lot is taken from times of recent, rather than the time period\frame DURAG actually takes place in. As such, Damani spent his free time before the events of the story boxing, training, and building his physique. When away from the gym or school, he would spend his time with those he loved, and deal with situations one at a time as they come along. One situation he never thought he'd have to face however, are the memes he, Rocco, and the rest of their friends made, manifesting themselves into physical bodies to wreak havoc on, and attempt to rule Earth. While Damani has some of the movie hero trope in him as well, he's mostly seen being reserved, somewhat quiet, and straight-faced, though joking and kind-hearted at times too.

Damani's time in the gym before the memes started to appear, forcibly running the land dry of freedom and peace, makes his physical strength and reaction time MUCH greater than Rocco's (even in his junior form), and although he has the intellect to deal with anything that comes his way, Rocco's whole game plan revolves around his technological advancements to overpower his opponents. The two are great friends though, and together they are an unstoppable force that can climb any mountain in their path. Therefore, they do as teammates do, and combined their strengths and skills to work as one congruent unit, Rocco giving Damani weaponry and other tools he designed himself, and Damani plotting a course to the future (as instructed by Rocco), to stop the rise of the memes before it technically begins.

When faced with a physical confrontation, Damani will use everything in his arsenal to gain the upper hand and loves to get stronger, but he will never back down from a fight. He possess the physical prowess to go toe to toe with some of the meme's greatest "soldiers", though he still knows when to fight and when to flee, but he also knows what to use, and when. While he doesn't have Rocco's stamina and speed, he often makes use of Rocco's weaponry since he knows that they're finite in the grand scheme of things, and that he always has his fists to rely on. While his array of weapons is severely limited to Rocco's, his "up close and personal" fighting style is fitting of the weapons he DOES choose to make use of and\or has available to him.

Mastery of your tools is important in a fight, especially when outnumbered as astronomically as the two friends are, but Damani understands the tools better than the memes, so even when faced against the same weapons, he knows their weak points, and he can tell if they REALLY know how to use it. He's one for calling his opponent's bluff, and he'll take every opportunity to, since most memes he encounters at the beginning are of a lower intellect or lacking common sense. Being sent to the future where Earth is already at it's breaking point really shows what Damani's capable of, since he can singlehandedly take down everything that comes his way. He proves time and time again that he doesn't NEED weapons of a higher caliber like Rocco, as he can do what he needs without explosive, super assault style weaponry and powerful tools. Regardless, he always has his guard up, but never shows emotion, never letting himself be read, and never giving his opponent a chance to predict his next move.
