One of the founders of HPCLT
Innes was a farmer at Rannoch and then Glen Fender near Blair Atholl. He subsequently became Head gardener at the Palace Hotel in Pitlochry.
He is a great naturtal and photographer and has contributed video footage (Wildcats and Capercaillies) to BBC wildlife programmes.
In 2013 he organised his chefs from the Palace Hotel (and his son Corrin) to carry heavy telegraph poles from the car park at Dun Coillich to the Goulandie Burn to allow the foot bridge to be built.
