Birds

Perch rocks for Dippers as indicated by the droppings. The bird also seen.

The remains of a female sparrowhawk's  kill.  The foot was identified by Keith Brockie as belonging to a Wood Pigeon. The suppostion is that the sparrowhawk was female as a male would be too small to take a Wood Pigeon.

A heron was also seen and there were many Brown Trout in the burn for it to feed on. Also seen - a Robin.
