Adjectives are words that describe nouns. In Norwegian adjectives are conjugated by gender/number/specificity/degree.
Conjugating adjectives by gender, number and specificity:
As you can see the rules for adjectives describing feminine and masculine nous are the same. Also it's the same for all the plurals.
Conjugating adjectives by degree:
There are mainly five different categories adjectives fall into when conjugating by degree. Regular adjectives use -ere and -est to signify degree. For longer words there is no bending at all as we use the forms mer and mest. Some adjectives have word change and use the signifiers -re and -st. These signifiers are also used by adjectives that have vowel change. Lastly some words with -e close to the end will lose this -e.
