Participation Fees

All registration fees include the access to the sessions, conference material, coffee breaks, welcome cocktail on Feb. 7, and lunches from Feb. 6-9, 2024.

Please note that the social program scheduled for February 8, 2024, should be booked and paid for separately. Here are the details:

A. Conference Dinner: This is available for those with a REDUCED fee and accompanying persons. Make sure to book and pay for the conference dinner if it applies to you.

B. Tours: The tours are open to all participants. You can book and pay for the tours as part of your registration process.

Ensure that you select and pay for the appropriate social program options when registering for the event. More information is available HERE

*Students: to qualify for the student fee, please ensure that a letter or email from your supervisor is sent to dsabns2024_novasst@bcamath.org as part of the registration process. This verification will help confirm your eligibility for the reduced student fee.

*BCAM and NOVAMATH members, invited speakers, and members of the organizing committee will be eligible for the REDUCED FEE.

IMPORTANT: Please note that individuals with oral and poster contributions must finalize their registration by December 15, 2023, to ensure the inclusion of their presentation in the conference program. Participants who do not meet this requirement will have their presentations canceled and will be automatically registered for attendance only.

Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policies:


Payment: To make your payment, please follow these steps:

1. To complete your registration for the DS 2024, please fill out the registration form with your personal information. While doing so, be sure to select your participation type and indicate any food restrictions you may have. After your registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation email that will allow you to login for your personal area.

2. In your personal area: 

A. Select your appropriate fee category and social program options. A proforma invoice will be generated (this is a provisional invoice, not a legal document; is just for your and/or your institution's reference). 

B. Please wait until you receive a final invoice from NOVA.ID and then proceed with the payment as soon as possible, making sure to meet the deadline associated with your selected fee and participation type. Here are the important payment deadlines:

Early fee rate: This rate must be paid by December 15, 2023. If you are presenting a MS (Minisymposium) talk, a CT (Contributed Talk), or a P (Poster), your registration payment fee must also be paid by this date.

Late fee rate: This rate is for attendance only and must be paid between December 16, 2023, and January 12, 2024.


 Payment can be made via bank transfer, which is free of any international charges. Respecting         these deadlines is crucial to ensure your participation in the conference at the preferred rate.            Please make your payment accordingly.

All fees are in Euros (€), free of VAT, according to Portuguese legislation. Please note that we must receive the total value free of bank charges.


Cancellation and Refund Policy:  To request for registration cancellations and refunds, please send an email to dsabns2024_novasst@bcamath.org

Please use the following email subject "DSABNS 2024 | Cancellation and Refund"

Requests for registration cancellations and refunds must be submitted in writing to the Conference Organizers (dsabns2024_novasst@bcamath.org) not later than January 12, 2024. An administrative €80 fee will be deducted from all registration refunds.

No refund requests will be granted after that date.
