Minisymposia

Prospective minisymposium organizers should consider the following recommendations when selecting speakers in a minisymposium:

1- Speakers should be selected primarily for their current contributions to the topic area, and to cover multiple perspectives on that topic.

2- The first speaker should provide an overview of the topic area, put the whole area in perspective, particularly with regard to applications, and suggest new venues for continued research and application.

3- Minisymposia must include speakers from different organizations, preferable from different countries.

Note that the number of accepted MS is very limited. In case your MS can not be included in the Conference Programme, the abstracts will be evaluated individually by the Scientific Committee and can be scheduled as CT or P.

A MS (Mini-Symposium) consists of a total of 4 talks. The length of the opening talk is 30 minutes, including questions. Following the opening talk, there are three additional talks, each lasting 20 minutes, including time for questions.

Under exceptional circumstances, it is possible to arrange a Mini-Symposium with 5 talks (1 opening talk + 4 additional talks) if needed. Please inform us if this arrangement is required.
