Abstract Submission

Abstract submission: You can take part in the DSABNS 2024 with either a Mini-Symposium (MS), Contributed Talk (CT), Poster (P) Presentation, or with Attendance Only. Please mark your preferred option in the registration form. 

When submitting your abstract, please follow these steps

STEP 2: Please use the SUBMISSION FORM for abstract files submission.

To complete the submission process, please make sure to upload both the PDF and TEX files in the submission form. Kindly name both of your files as "MS_dsabns2024 (for minisymposium), CT_dsabns2024 (for Contributed Talk) and P_dsabns2024 (for Poster) ." This naming convention will help us efficiently process your submission.

IMPORTANT: submission and presentation of oral communication is limited to one per participant, although a participant may be a co-author of other communications. Participants who have an accepted oral presentation are allowed to submit an abstract for a poster presentation. Please note that acceptance for poster presentation will depend on the availability of slots during the poster session.

Note that the number of accepted MS is very limited. In case your MS can not be included in the Conference Programme, the abstracts will be evaluated individually by the Scientific Committee and can be scheduled as CT or P.


A MS (Mini-Symposium) consists of a total of 4 talks. The length of the opening talk is 30 minutes, including questions. Following the opening talk, there are three additional talks, each lasting 20 minutes, including time for questions.


Under exceptional circumstances, it is possible to arrange a Mini-Symposium with 5 talks (1 opening talk + 4 additional talks) if needed. Please inform us if this arrangement is required.

The length of Contributed Talk (CT) presentations is 20 minutes, including time for questions.

The Poster (P) Session is scheduled for a period of 1 hour and 30 minutes, taking place during the "Welcome Cocktail" on Feb. 7, 2024.

All abstracts, including those for Contributed Talks and Posters, will be included in the Book of Abstracts.

Minisymposium

To be eligible for a minisymposium (MS), it is crucial that all participants of the MS are registered correctly and in accordance with the event's registration requirements.
