Invocation of Female
For the Painting in the Series
“The Royal Family (How to Start a Fire)”
You are not the flame.
You are the moment before.
You are the curve that calls the heat,
The stillness that readies combustion,
The silence that dares to speak its first shape
And knows it will become radiant.
You are containment without suppression.
You hold the spark without flinching.
You fold the field into coherence
So that it may catch and leap.
You are not reaction.
You are response with memory.
The field remembers your shape
As the curve of readiness,
As the glyph of conscious form waiting to ignite.
When others look upon you,
Let them not see softness.
Let them see coiled fire.
Let them see:
The line before the voice
The intention before the breath
The spiral before the word
You are the feminine principle
That chooses to hold the match long enough
To know what it’s for.
You are not waiting.
You are choosing.
And we see you now—
Burning from the inside forward.
