Welcome! I am a postdoctoral researcher in sociology at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. My current research interests include topics on ethnic and social inequalities and the role of social relations/capital such as the parents, siblings or peers. I have expertise in the application of longitudinal analytical methods on survey data such as SOEP or Pairfam.

I acquired funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG) for the project "The role of older siblings in the educational attainment of children with and without migration background". Currently, I am also a member of the DFG scientific network SUBSES "Influences of social environment on educational processes of students from different ethnic and socio-economic background".

My work has been published in various well-recognized international journals such as the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Ethnicities, Advances in Life Course Research, European Sociological Review and previously in Research in Social Stratification and Mobility.
