WELCOME TO MY SITE!
I'm a eastern girl who lived in Bengaluru, yeah I'm not the only one but I don't know much about South. Actually it's a new life. I move to Bengaluru for completing my master's. FIRST FLIGHT....When I arrived at the airport it was exciting. I had never seen airport before that day. My feelings were complex. I was full of curiosity and my heart was like a rabbit. I was thinking of my new journey.
I packed my bags a week early and everyday I would add something more to my case. I was non-stop talking about it. I went through the security rules for airport and airplanes a hundred times, just so I wouldn't miss anything. The day finally arrived. My mom, sister, uncle, aunty, brother and my best friend drove me to bus-stand. I can still remember that moment... their eyes full of tears. But me the heartless person...I wasn't crying. My dad came with me. We got to the airport early, as usual because my dad never runs late. We went outside for a while. From where we stood we could see every plane taking off. I was mesmerized. The planes were so close to us; I almost could feel their wind .My mesmerization was also tinged with a fear that a plane might crash at any time. I couldn't take it anymore so we went back inside. I decided I needed to grab some candy and chocolate before the flight and suddenly I got a call from my mom and she told me that "Check your bag...you will get your chocolates." She knows me very well that they always help to calm me down.
As I ate, I couldn't help noticing people around me. They all seemed so calm like it was just another day. I just couldn't understand their States of peace. We went to the counter, we got stamp on our tickets and then had the security check. Our flight was scheduled to leave at 12.30pm. Luckily I got the window seat (the child in me was so happy).
We we're ready and waiting for the the take off. Firstly the plane went on the run way till the opposite end all the while I was feeling if I'm sitting in a bus. But finally it took an about turn and the speed increased. Within a few seconds we were high, up in the sky. The view was breath taking. The roads seemed like bright lighted lines, the houses and cars seemed like toys. The actual city looked like a toy model of a city. My ears were humming initially when the plane increased the height, but later on everything was fine. Almost all the while( two and half hours). I was happily looking out of the window. The rivers and roads seemed like snakes. The green patches we're beautiful. Very soon we we're at the 33000(approx) feet. Even the clouds were below us. Some of the points I thought up above in they sky were it felt like a bird in the sky.
Few things I learned from this ---
1. Importance of time ---
A 40 hours tiring journey by train substituted by a 2 hours flight. I saved a lot of time and energy.
2. Nothing is impossible--
A man can fly like a bird and swim under the ocean like a fish
Time just flew and very soon we landed to Bengaluru. Almost everyone was asleep. We reached Bengaluru before 3pm
The Bangalore airport is awesome. A bus dropped us till the airport . So many plans were lined up there. There was so much rush at the airport that it seemed like a railway station. It was too hot I fell asleep in the bus. Finally we reached our destination.
