Forum Depreciation Timeline

Thank you for all your hard work and contributions to DreamZoo2 over the years! We are very proud of the wonderful site that we have created, and we look forward to what lies ahead!

Early in 2018, the staff announced that DreamZoo2 would be repurposed as a site that would preserve user downloads for the long run, and that process is still ongoing. In order to cement DreamZoo2's status as a permanent archive, we have decided to depreciate the user features of DreamZoo2 so that it remains in a static state, forever.

Below, you will find out which features will be disabled, and when, so that you may adequately prepare. Thanks for all the fun times, and we wish you all the best moving forward!

New Registrations Disabled

August 1st, 2018

DreamZoo2 will be closing down the forums to new user registrations starting on August 1st, 2018. This means that users who do not already have an account will not be allowed to register for a new one on or after that date.

The above deadline has passed, and so new user registrations for the DreamZoo2 forums are no longer being accepted.

Posting Disabled

January 1st, 2019

All posting will be disabled beginning on January 1st, 2019. Existing users will still be permitted to log in and change their profiles, avatars, and signatures and send private messages to other users. However, the ability to post new topics and replies, and the ability to edit your existing posts will be disabled.

The above deadline has passed, and so any existing registered users of DreamZoo2's forums are not longer permitted to create new topics, reply to existing topics or edit any of their existing posts.

Accounts Read-Only

January 5th, 2019

On this date, existing users will not be able to edit their profile information, nor will they be able to send private messages to other members. This also means that old PM's will become unreadable, so be sure to back them up before that date.

The above deadline has passed, so accounts are no longer editable. Users cannot edit any profile information, and they cannot use the PM system moving forward.

Log-Ins Disabled

June 1st, 2019

User accounts will remain as they are, but you will not be able to sign in to your account on or after this date. You will get an error message and not be able to view the board if logged in to your account.

The above deadline has passed, and so any registered users will not be able to do anything once they are logged into their accounts. All account activities are restricted.

DREAMZOO2.COM Domain Expires

June 11th, 2019

On this date, the main .com domain name for DreamZoo2 is set to expire. It is a monetary investment on my part to keep that active, and I am unwilling to make that long term financial commitment. Please note that even after the domain expires, the forums will remain publicly accessible at the following address:

https://zoowiz84dls.jcink.net/

The forums are hosted independently of this Google Sites page and our domain, so this link should remain working so long as Jcink continues to graciously provide support for it.
